Troubleshooting

As with any complex piece of machinery, computers can go wrong. We can find the problem and help you decide what to do about it.

The two basic problems are something physically wrong with the computer, like a broken hard drive (hardware), or it's a programme problem (software).

We quickly find out what the problem is and then advise you what to do next. if it's a broken part, we will help you decide what to replace it with then we'll fit it and make sure it's working properly. If it's something wrong with Windows or one of the programmes, we can normally fix it there and then, although in some cases it might require a full re-installation of Windows.

We also clean virus-infested computers but again, it is sometimes better to re-install Windows to make sure it's completely virus-free. It's sometimes quicker too.

Our charges are reasonable and cost from just £35. At all stages of the work we will let you know if it's going to cost more than that.
